Pogba, 30, chose to rejoin Juventus on a free transfer after turning down a new £300,000-a-week contract at Manchester United.
He had a horrible first season back in Italy, appearing in only 10 games for Juventus owing to ongoing injury issues.
Pogba had meniscus surgery in September, causing him to miss the rest of the season, including the World Cup in Qatar.
He returned to duty in March but sustained another muscle injury while practicing free kicks in training, sidelining him for many weeks.
Pogba suffered a thigh injury just 25 minutes into his first start for Juventus in his second tenure since returning in May.
To make matters worse, Pogba was the focus of an alleged blackmail plan involving his brother, which added to his problems off the field.
Pogba has stated that he has no regrets about rejoining Juventus from Manchester United, stating that he felt no love at the English club after re-signing for them in an £89 million move from Turin in 2016.
Pogba told French source Views about his move from United’s academy to Juventus in 2012: “When I left Manchester, I was young.” And when you’re young, you want to make a good impression.
“I came to Juve, a relatively new Italian club, and it was a big test for me.” But I witnessed the passion of the fans and the love of the club right away. I liked how they functioned and learned a lot from them.
“I returned to Manchester because I hadn’t completed my work there.” ‘I really want to play with the A’s [the first team],’ I told myself. I did it, and it was a personal accomplishment for me. We have already won titles that Manchester has not won in a long time, not the Premier League.
“And why did I return to Juve?” Because it was the club that truly helped me push myself. And the love I get from the supporters and the club is something I didn’t get at Manchester.
“I was surprised when I returned to England because I had already been labeled with the transfer.” It was very sad.
“But it’s two clubs that I really love, that have helped me grow, and I can only thank them.” Perhaps I could have gone to other clubs, but my heart selected those clubs, and I frequently follow my heart.”
