According to The Athletic’s David Ornstein, United has started a bid to capture the 16-year-old midfielders after they impressed at City’s academy. He said that the Fletcher twins are set to bridge the Manchester divide and join United after the club approached City last week to arrange a transaction, adding that the transfer is expected to be finalized for a large fee.
