Atalanta are ready to accept Manchester United’s impending bid for Rasmus Hojlund, with the amount anticipated to be sufficient to cover the Serie A club’s valuation.
The Peoples Person recently highlighted an Alfredo Pedulla article stating that United’s official proposal for Hojlund was due to be submitted by Thursday.
In the midst of all of this, Atalanta have decided to replace the Dane in Almeria’s El Bilal Toure.
La Dea will pay a fixed fee of €28 million, which will be augmented by €3 million in add-ons for Toure, setting a new record for the Italian giants.
This development is anticipated to hasten Hojlund’s move to Old Trafford.
Pedulla has provided an update on United’s pursuit of the 20-year-old goalscorer, stating that Atalanta is ready to accept the Red Devils’ offer.
“Ten Hag himself stated in the last press conference the importance of having the new striker as soon as possible.”
“According to our information, Manchester United will present a proposal worth around 70 million (euros) plus bonuses in order to get closer to 75 million.”
“The figure deemed acceptable by Atalanta for approval. The allegations of an 85 million dollar request are unfounded, and the aforementioned premise may be the best one to begin with the agreements.”
Pedulla said that Gian Piero Gasperini’s team is eager to get a trade done as soon as possible since they are well aware that their star player has reached an agreement with United on personal terms.
On a multi-year contract, he is likely to earn between €4 million and €4.5 million with bonuses.
Atalanta are willing to “go all the way” and are resigned to losing Hojlund just one year after signing him from Sturm Graz.
