Both Manchester United and Chelsea are rumored to be looking for a new goalkeeper this summer.
Erik ten Hag is seeking for a goalkeeper to fight with David De Gea, while Chelsea is looking for a long-term replacement for Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga.
In recent months, Onana has been widely linked with a move to the Premier League. Cameroon international was a standout for Ajax for six years before joining Inter Milan last summer.
The Guardian reports that ‘Chelsea face competition from Manchester United for Onana,’ but the Red Devils have also selected Porto’s Diogo Costa (valued at roughly £64m) as a potential De Gea replacement.
Inter Milan’s financial problems “could force them to sell,” and “he is thought to prefer a move to United.”
