Harry Maguire frustrated with one Man United team-mate amid loss of form

Harry Maguire’s problems with Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea may have contributed to his poor form in the last year or so.

The England international was a vital player for the Red Devils, having been bought for a large fee by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and later appointed club captain by the same manager.

According to ESPN, Maguire is now out of favor under new manager Erik ten Hag, and it appears he has some concerns with De Gea’s playing style, which may have contributed to how terrible the squad appeared at times last season.

There is a point to be made that Maguire and De Gea do not appear to be a good match in the United defense, but it may not sit well with him that he sees his teammate as one of the main individuals to blame.

Lisandro Martinez communicates better with De Gea because they both understand Spanish, according to ESPN.

Martinez has done well since taking over for Maguire in the MUFC defense, and it will be intriguing to see if the former Leicester City player keeps his spot.
