However, the 26-year-old Spanish full-back is not the only possible deadline arrival. Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina, who has remained a target for Ten Hag throughout the summer, appears to be coming up on a move to Old Trafford despite being kept out of his club’s matchday squads.
Despite the midfielder’s constant ties to Manchester United, according to a recent Manchester Evening News article, some ‘ senior club figures’ have not been ‘wholly convinced’ by the Moroccan’s skills.
Ten Hag, on the other hand, remains a fan and, according to the newest sources, is ‘trying to be reunited’ with the midfielder, whom he managed at Dutch club Utrecht earlier in his career.
