Cristiano Ronaldo has once again made headlines, but this time for a rather comical reason. Video footage has surfaced showing one of his trademark free kicks striking a cameraman squarely in the face during Al Nassr’s match against Al-Raed. While Ronaldo is renowned for his exceptional free-kick prowess throughout his career, this particular strike found an unintended target as it smacked into the hapless cameraman stationed behind the goal.
The match itself witnessed Al Nassr continuing their impressive run, securing a 3-1 victory thanks to goals from Sadio Mane, Talisca, and Ronaldo himself. This triumph marked their fourth consecutive league win after suffering defeats in their first two outings. Clearly, the newly assembled squad is now finding its stride and cohesion.
While Ronaldo did manage to find the back of the net in this solid performance, his free-kick attempt left room for improvement. Given the position from which it was taken, the general expectation was to at least test the goalkeeper, but the former Manchester United star failed to do so, much to the chagrin of the cameraman stationed just behind the goal.
