That’s right, Alexis Sanchez will return to Inter Milan. The former Manchester United player appears to be leaving Marseille and returning to the Italians on a free transfer.
The Chile forward, dubbed “Manchester United’s worst singing ever” by GiveMeSport, is currently 34 years old and has never regained the amazing form he achieved at both Barcelona and Arsenal.
Now he’s on his way back to Italy, with a swap deal in the works between the two parties.
Alexis Sanchez has agreed to join Inter Milan.
Sanchez is returning to Inter Milan on a free transfer this summer, having been given the ‘Here we go!’ treatment by the ever-reliable Fabrizio Romano.
The transfer is part of a deal between the two parties, with Argentine forward Joaquin Correa moving the other way.
The Chilean will return pending a medical clearance, which is expected this Friday.
Correa is loaned out for €2 million. There is also a €10 million buy clause, although it is conditional on Marseille qualifying for the Champions League in 2024/25.
His medical exam is also scheduled on Friday.
A great move for someone his age.
Given his decline and age, the move is ideal for Sanchez.
Last season, Inter reached the Champions League Final, narrowly missing out on the trophy. They have some excellent talent and are unquestionably among Europe’s best teams.
Sanchez played one season in Ligue 1, collecting 14 goals for Marseille – a respectable result. Serie A, on the other hand, is a slightly different kettle of fish. Let’s see how he does.
