What is the most recent Mason Mount transfer rumor?
According to The Guardian, Manchester United has reached a deal’ with Mount on personal terms, and he is expected to join Erik Ten Hag at Old Trafford this summer.
According to the report, Chelsea will seek at least £60 million to allow Mount to leave SW6 during the off-season. Arsenal, Liverpool, and Bayern Munich are all interested in signing the midfielder.
Mount’s contract with Chelsea is paid £80,000 per week, and his term in West London is slated to expire in June 2024, according to Capology.
“I wouldn’t be hanging my hat too much on Mason Mount, in terms of improving United and closing the gap,” pundit Roy Keane told Sky Sports, as published by The Daily Express. I believe he is a good player, but will he help Manchester United? I’m not convinced. I know Mason Mount has the ability to recover and has characteristics; I was raving about him a few years ago, but he’s just gone MIA in the last year or two. One or two injuries, and the fact that he can’t get into a terrible Chelsea team.
According to Transfermarkt, Mount appeared 35 times in all competitions for Chelsea in 2022/23, recording three goals and six assists.
Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, trade guru Romano said that Manchester United is pushing hard this summer to get Mount to the club.
“It should be around £50m,” Romano added, explaining why the situation appears challenging at present. But there will undoubtedly be some developments shortly because Manchester United is pushing for Mason Mount.”
