Manchester United has reportedly removed English forward Jadon Sancho from the club’s WhatsApp group.
Manager Erik ten Hag and his staff utilize this platform to communicate essential information to the first-team players ahead of games and training sessions.
However, Sancho, who is currently suspended from the first team and training, has been excluded from the group as his exile from the team continues.
This situation arose after Sancho publicly criticized Ten Hag on the social media platform X back in September. The manager had claimed that Sancho was dropped from the matchday squad facing Arsenal due to his poor attitude in training.
Although Sancho later removed the post from social media, he has yet to offer an apology to the manager, despite efforts from his teammates, staff, and club executives at Old Trafford to convince him to do so.
Consequently, Ten Hag has barred Sancho from using any first-team facilities, including the canteen.
His meals are now delivered to the academy section, where he also has his own dressing room.
With his removal from the WhatsApp group, it appears that the path to a return to playing for Manchester United has become increasingly difficult for Jadon Sancho.
