Reports indicate that Manchester United players are advising Jadon Sancho to extend an apology to Erik ten Hag after a recent disagreement between the winger and the manager.
Sancho, the England international, has been training separately from the United first team following a falling-out with his manager. The dispute resulted in Ten Hag omitting Sancho from the matchday squad during the 3-1 defeat against Arsenal just before the September international break.
Erik ten Hag hinted that Sancho’s training efforts leading up to the Arsenal match were subpar, a claim that the winger publicly refuted on social media. As a consequence, he was removed from the first-team squad.
Several of Sancho’s teammates, including England trio Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, and Harry Maguire, have reportedly approached him with the suggestion that he apologize to Ten Hag in order to reintegrate into the team. However, as of now, no apology has been extended, leading to speculation about a potential January transfer.
Jadon Sancho, whose performance at Old Trafford has yet to meet expectations, currently holds a market value of £39 million according to Transfermarkt. It’s worth noting that Sancho will not participate in United’s upcoming EFL Cup match against Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
