Carlo Ancelotti violated Man Utd when talking about Casemiro’s transfer, it’s gone viral

Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti appeared to poke fun at struggling Manchester United when revealing Casemiro's departure.

The Brazilian midfielder is expected to join United in a £60 million deal after agreeing to terms on a four-year contract extension.

In a press conference on Friday, Ancelotti was asked about Casemiro’s future, and he disclosed that the 30-year-old has bid goodbye to his Real teammates.

He then stated that he couldn’t comprehend Casemiro’s desire to leave the La Liga and Champions League holders for a struggling side.’ It’s worth noting that he never mentioned the word United.

Ancelotti said in words quoted by the Mirror: “Casemiro wants to attempt something different, and I and the club understand.

“After all, he’s done so much for this club, and we must respect his decision. Casemiro is leaving, but we have plenty of resources to fill his shoes.

“Casemiro has resolved to take on a new task and there is no turning back. We want to wish him the best of luck. I just found out Casemiro is departing, but our goals remain unchanged – we’ll compete for everything with or without Casemiro.

“I believe Casemiro has been a great player for us; he was important to [Toni] Kroos and [Luka] Modric, and the combination was crucial to our success.

“Casemiro’s colleagues understand and support his decision; it was his desire to take on a new challenge, and we must accept it. I can’t comment on why Casemiro swapped a European champion for a losing team; that’s his decision.”

United was looking to bolster their central midfield this summer and spent the majority of their time pursuing Barcelona star, Frenkie de Jong.

Erik ten Hag, who worked with the 25-year-old at Ajax, saw him as an important element of how his United team would play.

However, that chase appears to have been abandoned in favor of Casemiro, who has 15 major club honors to his record.

This summer, United signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, and Lisandro Martinez, and Casemiro will be their fourth signing.

The Red Devils remain interested in Ajax winger Antony, but their £67.6 million deal was turned down on Wednesday.

Antony is rumored to be interested in a transfer and did not train with his Ajax colleagues on Friday.

He could miss the game against Sparta Rotterdam on Sunday.
